Velven is a premium self adhesive architectural wrap for desks, sideboards, drawers, shelves and other smooth furniture surfaces. Keep the piece you already have and give its visible surfaces a woodgrain, stone or soft plain finish.

Start with clean, smooth and sealed panels that can be measured and worked on one at a time. Flat drawer fronts, side panels, desktops and shelf faces give you clear edges to align and trim.
Remove handles and hardware where possible, then test the adhesive in a hidden area before wrapping the full piece.

Before you start
Plan the finish across the whole piece
Furniture is viewed from several angles, so decide where the finish begins and ends before cutting. Measure each panel separately, plan the grain direction and test the colour on the actual piece.
Set the grain direction first
Choose whether the grain will run vertically or horizontally before trimming. Keep the direction consistent across adjoining drawers, doors and panels so the completed surface reads as one design.
Check the colour beside the room
Place samples against the furniture and view them in daylight and evening light. Compare each finish with the flooring, walls, upholstery and hardware before choosing. Build your own combination with the Sample Box.
