Caravan and Motorhome Interior Wrap Ideas That Travel Well

A roll of dark walnut wood grain self adhesive vinyl wrap with a soft satin sheen

Caravan and motorhome interiors tend to date long before they wear out. Pale timber lockers, glossy cream cabinets and tired laminate make a perfectly good van feel older than it is. Peel and stick vinyl wrap lets you refresh the whole interior over a weekend, without ripping anything out or adding weight that matters.

Start with the surfaces you see most

Overhead locker doors, cabinet and cupboard fronts, drawer faces, the dinette table top and flat wall panels are the surfaces that age a van fastest. They are also smooth, sealed and easy to wrap, so they give you the biggest change for the least effort.

Weight you will not notice

A thin finish adds almost nothing to your load. You change the look of the interior without touching your payload in any way that matters on the road, which is the part new joinery or panels can never promise.

Prep matters more on the move

A van shakes, heats up and cools down as you travel, so prep is everything. Clean and degrease every surface, dry it fully, smooth the film firmly from the centre out, and warm the edges with a hair dryer so they set and stay down for the long haul.

Leave the wet and hot spots alone

Choose the finish for the space

Vans are small, so a warm wood tone makes the interior feel cosy, while a soft light finish opens it up. Order a sample box, tape a few finishes inside the van, and check them in daylight and lamp light before you commit.
