Grey Terrazzo Stone

Grey Terrazzo Stone Vinyl Wrap is the stone mood without the renovation spiral. It gives a vanity front, shelf, side table, or small panel a textured terrazzo contact paper look with a much lower first step.

If you are searching for stone look self adhesive wallpaper, grey terrazzo vinyl film, or peel and stick contact paper, sample first and check the room before buying metres.

Best first project: a vanity face, shelf, side table, or a small panel away from constant water.

Best first projects

Use this finish where one smooth surface can change the room.

Start with visible, low traffic surfaces: furniture fronts, cabinet doors, wardrobe faces, shelf backs and dry zone vanity fronts. Sample the finish first, then measure the project once it works in your light.

Good to know

Questions, answered

How much do I need?

Velven wraps come in two widths, 60 cm and 120 cm. Choosing the width closest to your surface reduces joins, keeps the grain flowing, and makes the job smoother.

Allow a margin of around 3 to 5 cm on each side for trimming and clean, confident edges. For larger projects, a little more overhang helps.

How will it look in my space?

Every space carries its own light, rhythm, and character. We capture each wrap colour as truly as we can, but every screen shows it a little differently.

If you are deciding between finishes, order an A4 sample and place it where it will live. If you already know the look, choose the roll width and length that suit your surface.

Where can I use this?

Velven loves the vertical surfaces you see and touch every day. Cabinet and wardrobe doors, drawer fronts, furniture, internal doors, shelves and feature walls all wrap beautifully.

Keep it to dry zones. Velven is not made for benchtops, floors, showers, basins or any surface that lives under water or high heat. On a vanity, wrap the cabinet front and leave the splash area to your tiles or stone.

Change the one surface you look at every day, and the whole room feels different. That is the idea.

How easy is it to install?

Velven was made with DIYers in mind. The backing lets you lift and reposition as you go, so you can refine each step without worry.

Every wrap strikes a balance, soft enough to bend around curves and edges, yet strong enough to resist tearing or warping. No special skills needed, just a steady hand and a little patience.

Can I remove it later?

Yes. Velven lifts cleanly from most sound, sealed surfaces. Warm it gently with a hairdryer and peel slowly at a low angle. If the surface underneath is delicate or the paint is old, test a small hidden area first, since weak paint can lift with any adhesive.

Is it sustainable?

Most kitchen joinery in Australia is made from MDF or particle board, materials engineered from wood fibres bonded with resins. They are strong and versatile, but hard to recycle.

At the end of their life most are sent to landfill, because the resin stops the fibres being separated and reused, and local recycling options are limited.

By resurfacing what you already have instead of replacing it, Velven helps extend the life of these materials and keeps usable joinery out of landfill.

What tools do I need?

You can start with tools you already have at home, like scissors, a sharp knife, and a hairdryer. For the best result, use a sharp snap off blade, a squeegee or felt edged applicator, a steel ruler, and a hairdryer or heat gun on low to soften the edges as you work.

How do I clean it?

Wipe with a soft cloth or sponge using mild soap and water. Avoid harsh abrasives and solvents so the finish keeps looking its best.
