These terms govern participation in the Velven Affiliate Program. By applying to or participating in the program, you agree to these terms.
1. Operator and contact
The program is operated by Velven, ABN 63 506 293 664 ("Velven", "we", "us"). Questions and notices may be sent to contact@velven.com.au.
2. Applying and approval
You must be at least 18 years old and provide complete and accurate information about yourself and the channels where you plan to promote Velven. Applying does not guarantee acceptance. Velven reviews applications manually and may approve, reject, suspend or remove an affiliate when reasonably necessary to protect customers, Velven or the program. Approval is personal to you and cannot be transferred or sublicensed.
3. Your follower offer
If Velven approves you for a follower offer, we will provide a unique coupon code for your approved channels. The code gives your followers 10% off eligible Velven purchases, subject to the offer details and any expiry or exclusions Velven communicates. Do not alter the code, promise a different offer, or publish it on coupon, cashback or discount only channels.
4. Eligible referrals and attribution
An eligible referral is a customer who uses your valid affiliate link or approved coupon code and completes an eligible purchase on velven.com.au within 30 days of the last eligible affiliate click. Attribution is last click: a later eligible affiliate referral may replace an earlier referral. Tracking depends on cookies and other permitted identifiers and may not work if a customer blocks or clears them, changes device or browser, or uses an unapproved link.
GoAffPro's recorded attribution is the program record, subject to correction of clear errors, fraud, cancellations, refunds or chargebacks. A coupon code does not override a later eligible affiliate click where the platform records a different last click.
5. Commission
The standard commission is 15% of net eligible revenue from an eligible referred order. Net eligible revenue is the eligible merchandise amount after the customer discount has been applied. The following are excluded from the commission calculation:
- shipping and delivery charges;
- GST and any other tax;
- discounts, including the 10% follower offer;
- the Sample Box;
- every A4 Sample variant;
- cancelled, refunded or returned items and orders;
- chargebacks, fraud, test orders and self referrals; and
- any other amount that is not eligible merchandise revenue.
Commission can be reversed or adjusted when an order is cancelled, refunded, returned, charged back, found to be fraudulent or otherwise stops qualifying. Velven may confirm a different rate for a particular campaign in writing. No different rate applies unless Velven confirms it in writing.
6. Payment
Validated commissions are paid by PayPal on net 30 terms after validation, when your approved balance reaches the minimum payout of AUD 100. Balances below AUD 100 carry forward. You must keep your PayPal details and other payment information accurate. You are responsible for your own tax obligations and any PayPal, currency conversion or receiving fees. Velven may hold a disputed amount while it investigates and will pay any undisputed balance.
7. Affiliate disclosure
You must clearly and prominently disclose your affiliate relationship wherever you use a Velven affiliate link, coupon code, gifted product or paid content. The disclosure must be easy to notice and understand before or alongside the endorsement. It must comply with the Australian Consumer Law, the AANA Code, platform rules and any law that applies to you.
A suitable plain disclosure is: "I may earn a commission if you buy through this link."
8. Honest promotion
Your claims must be truthful, current and based on your genuine experience. Do not make unsupported claims about suitability, removal, surface safety, waterproofing, durability, Australian manufacture, environmental benefits or guaranteed outcomes. Follow Velven's current sample first, surface testing and application guidance. Do not alter Velven product images or copy in a misleading way.
9. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- buy through your own link or use your own follower offer;
- use misleading redirects, cookie stuffing, forced clicks or any method that creates artificial attribution;
- send spam or make unsolicited commercial communications;
- impersonate Velven or suggest that Velven employs, sponsors or endorses you beyond the affiliate relationship;
- register domains, social accounts or advertisements containing Velven trademarks or misspellings;
- bid on Velven brand terms or run paid search to Velven without written approval;
- publish links or codes on coupon aggregators, cashback or rewards services, browser extensions, deal forums or sub affiliate networks;
- offer an incentive that Velven has not approved;
- publish illegal, discriminatory, defamatory, unsafe or misleading content; or
- infringe another person's privacy, intellectual property or other rights.
You may share an approved creator code on your approved channels as part of genuine, disclosed content. You must not leak that code to discount only channels.
10. Brand assets
Velven grants you a limited, revocable, non exclusive licence to use approved program assets only to promote Velven while you participate in the program. Do not alter Velven logos, imply a broader endorsement or reuse customer content without permission. At Velven's request or when participation ends, stop using the assets, links and codes.
11. Customer relationship
Referred customers remain Velven customers. Velven controls prices, stock, shipping, returns, warranties and customer service. You must not promise a price, delivery date, result or remedy beyond Velven's current published terms. Nothing in these terms limits a consumer right under the Australian Consumer Law.
12. Privacy and confidentiality
Use personal information only lawfully and for the purpose for which it was provided. Do not try to identify referred customers from affiliate reporting. Keep non public program information confidential. GoAffPro processes program and attribution data. See the Velven Affiliate Privacy Notice below and GoAffPro's privacy notice.
13. Independent relationship
You are an independent contractor. You are not a Velven employee, agent, reseller or spokesperson. You must not create an obligation for Velven or represent that you can do so.
14. Suspension and termination
Either party may end participation by notice. Velven may suspend tracking or payment immediately where it reasonably suspects fraud, serious non disclosure or a material breach while it investigates. Valid commissions earned before termination remain payable unless they are excluded or reversed under these terms.
15. Changes
Velven may update the program prospectively by giving reasonable notice through the portal or by email. An update does not remove a commission that Velven has already validated. Continuing to participate after the effective date of an update means you accept the updated terms.
16. Liability and governing law
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss arising from the program. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. The courts of Victoria have non exclusive jurisdiction. This clause does not exclude or limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
